Hydroxy Propyl Methyl Cellulose Ophthalmic Solution USP.
Description:
EYE-VISC is a sterile non-pyrogenic, viscoelastic preparation of a non-inflammatory, highly purified grade Hydroxyproplmethyl Cellulose 2% w/v dissolved in a physiological buffer at pH 6.8 - 7.2 for intraocular application during the anterior segment surgeries.
Characteristics:
Highly retentive, dispersive viscoelastic. Unique ability to offer good space maintenance and excellent tissue protection throughout the procedure. Possesses a high dynamic viscoelasticity and coating ability. Characterized by a low molecular weight and low surface tension.
Totally non antigenic and completely transparent. Does not require refrigeration.
